Attorney Brown is an experienced trial lawyer who has been in practice since 1990. He has over 175 jury verdicts to his credit. He has tried cases on behalf of both defendants and plaintiffs. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked in the insurance industry as a Claims Representative and Claims Supervisor for two of the largest property and casualty insurance companies in the country. His vast experience and knowledge of the insurance industry, combined with his experience as a personal injury trial lawyer, allows him to maximize settlements and verdicts for the benefit of the clients he represents.

Attorney Brown was raised in Maryland. He attended Fairfield University and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After graduation, he worked in the insurance industry for seven years. While working full time, Attorney Brown attended Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, MA at night. He earned his law degree in 1989. Upon passing the bar, he was admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut in February 1990 and became licensed to practice in the United States District Court in October 1990.

Attorney Brown's first 15 years in practice were spent trying cases as a defense lawyer. He was one of the most respected civil defense trial lawyers in the State of Connecticut. In 2005, Attorney Brown made the decision that in order to become a better lawyer, and represent the needs of individuals over corporate America, he would need to switch sides and become a plaintiff's attorney. As a plaintiff attorney, he has tried over 50 cases to verdict with great success. His trial experience and reputation translate into higher settlements for his clients and their families. He has numerous million-dollar settlements to his credit. Becoming a plaintiff's lawyer has been a life changing event for him. Believing that "integrity means everything," he is passionate about practicing law and representing those who need help.
